How can I make a faye valentine costume with clothes I can find at any local mall?

I’m in the process of making a Faye Valentine costume for Halloween this year, but I am in no means a very creative person when it comes to costume making. I’ve been trying to find clothing that I can buy to make the costume but I’m having a hard time trying to find exactly what I need. If anyone has any suggestions on clothing that I could use to make this costume it would really help me out. I know that I’m not going to find exactly what I need but I am willing to tweak any clothing ideas I get to make my costume as realistic as possible. PLEASE HELP! Thanks!

Well I know that there is a CSS thingy (in the friendster) and it wasn’t that what i meant. For a camp this summer, I am supposed to dress like a historical character. My first thought was to be Pocahontas because that would be a lot of fun! I need an inexpensive way to make a costume that resembles her. I have blonde hair, so I’ll probably need a wig. Would it be stupid to be a blonde Pocahontas? I want this costume for a fun run. It is the type of costume where you stand inside and it looks like you are riding riding an emu or what ever animal you choose. In the one Bernie uses he seems to have some sort of spring for the neck and it is this I want to achieve. Does anyone know what might be suitable for this and where I might start looking for materials to make the costume?

I am making this from scratch with no experience in this type of thing.
